Multi award-winning search dog instructor Stu Phillips is to speak as a guest instructor at the 11th annual international K9 Cop Magazine conference and vendor show, taking place in Nashville Tennessee on the 13th, 14th and 15th September 2022.
Stu, who started his career with the UK Ministry of Defence is the owner of Pembrokeshire based B.W.Y Canine Ltd and has been working with dogs for over 22 years. During his career Stu has worked in France with UK Border Force where dogs were used to locate stowaways hiding on trucks destined for the UK on cross channel ferries. Over the past 15 years Stu has worked with specialist detection dogs trained to find items like explosives, cash, drugs, tobacco and firearms and has gained an enviable reputation disrupting organised crime with his award winning tobacco detection dogs. More recently Stu has worked with Interpol and the EOCD, providing consultancy services to international Customs K9 units. Stu is also heavily involved with a wildlife detection dog project in Indonesia, where his skills, knowledge and experience are utilised by an international wildlife conservation organisation.
In September, Stu will speak in front of Police, Military and law enforcement K9 teams at the world class K9 Cop Magazine conference in Nashville. Over 35 world class K9 instructors will present at the conference to over 800 attendees from all over the world.
