United Nations explosive detection dog (EDD) workshop
Stuart Phillips, Managing Director of B.W.Y Canine Ltd spends three days with experts from around the world at the United Nations first ever Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) workshop.
Stuart is believed to be the only representative from Wales, invited to attend the first EDD workshop held by the United Nations at UN City in Copenhagen, Denmark. The workshop brought together experts from around the world discuss a number of topics associated with the deployment of explosive detection dog teams.
"It has been a huge honour to attend this workshop, B.W.Y Canine Ltd is a relatively small Pembrokeshire based company, but I feel we had a lot to contribute to this workshop and a lot to take away also. I've made some great friends and contacts from around the world and I've already spoken with some of my new contacts regarding detection dog projects in a number of countries".
