Sniffer dogs help uncover thousands of illegal tobacco products in three-day blitz

Specially-trained dogs have managed to sniff out thousands of stashed illegal tobacco products in a three-day operation across the city.

Sniffer dogs Yoyo, Scampi, and Phoebe helped trading standards officers uncover around 3,000 packets of fake tobacco in a major clampdown in the Radford Road area this weekend (Sep 8-10). The specialist sniffer dogs were provided by Wales based company BW.Y. Canine Ltd, together with dog handler and instructor Stu Phillips.
