Illegal tobacco found by sniffer dogs and seized by Trading Standards

At least two shops in Freeman Street have been raided in crackdown on the sale of illicit tobacco.

Trading Standards officers, supported by Humberside Police, have targeted the Arian News and Ferdawes International Stores shops in Grimsby in an operation aimed at clamping down on fake cigarettes being sold illegally.

Police officers with sniffer dogs, and North East Lincolnshire Council trading standards officials swooped on a number of shops in Freeman Street, at around 10am this morning.
