An Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) is the most consistent and reliable method of detecting explosives.

Our EDD teams can be employed to search buildings, vehicles, events, conferences and outdoor spaces.

"Bomb Dogs", as they are also known, are quicker, more effective and significantly more accurate than human search teams. They also provide a high-profile deterrent and deliver reassurance to staff, visitors, customers and the general public.

B.W.Y Canine’s highly experienced EDD teams have undergone rigorous professional training and can work alongside your existing security staff for long or short contracts, or for one-off events.

Our explosive search dogs all have pet passports, enabling us to mobilise quickly on overseas deployments.

B.W.Y Canine Ltd is licensed by Dyfed-Powys Police to acquire and keep explosives for the purposes of training explosive detection dogs.

We do not use any type of pseudo explosive training aids.
