Dyfed-Powys Police Dog Dash was awarded a National Police K9 Memorial medal yesterday by Chief Constable Mark Collins.

Dash is 13 years old and has spent the last 11 years working with his handler Pc John Llewellyn for Dyfed-Powys Police.

Stuart Phillips from B.W.Y Canine asked Paul Nicholls QPM from the National Police K9 Memorial if Dash could be recognised for his 11 years service as a drugs, cash and firearms search dog.

On Tuesday 7th July 2020 at a small ceremony at Police Headquarters, Dash received his medal from Chief Constable Mark Collins.

We wish retired police dog Dash a long, happy and healthy retirement with PC Llewellyn and his family in Pembrokeshire.
