Two Day Detection Dog Workshop

Where & When:

Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th May 2019 in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

This two day workshop is aimed at those with an interest in developing the skills and knowledge required for handling a detection dog.

Workshop content to include:

  • Selection of dogs
  • Puppy development
  • Scent imprinting
  • Contamination
  • Indications and behaviour change
  • Search patterns and awareness

There will be a number of trained and untrained dogs for use during this workshop. Those wishing to attend with their own puppy/dog are more than welcome to attend as a handler place.


Award winning dog handler Stuart Phillips, who has over 20 years operational experience as a dog handler and trainer.

Handler places:       £125.00 (limited to 8 handlers)

Observer places:     £75.00 (limited to 10 observers)

Lunch will be included in the cost for both days. Overnight accommodation is not included, however we can advise on suitable B&Bs and hotels, local to the two day workshop.
